- If you're up for some sledding in the winter or some uphill/downhill running you are at the right place. Ryder Park is home to Tornado Hill. Tornado Hill is approximately 40 foot tall and covers the debris left in the wake of the seven tornadoes that rampaged through Grand Island on June 3, 1980.
